Local cellist, Findlay Spence (from Fortrose) and Scottish violinist Sophie Williams, perform music for Violin and Cello at the Stables. Both students at the Royal College of Music in London, they will present a varied programme including Ravel’s Duo for Violin and Cello, one of the most demanding and virtuosic works for these instruments.

L.v. Beethoven: Duo for Violin and Cello in C
R. Gliere: 8 Pieces for Violin and Cello 
M. Ravel: Sonata for Violin and Cello
B. Bartok: Romanian Folk Dances (arr. Spence)
