Led by local Artist, UHI Lecturer, and John Muir Award Leader, Rosie Newman, this immersive workshop invites you to explore the intricate world of seaweeds. Begin by foraging along the shoreline, capturing nature's wonders through hands-on image creation, each piece reflecting the unique charm and diversity of seaweed and other treasures found. Gain expertise in preparing materials for cyanotype, printing, collage, and painting, crafting a beautiful and distinctive memory book celebrating our shoreline's marvels and stories. We will meet at The old Buoy Store but will be spending some time outside on the seashore, please dress warmly and appropriately and have waterproof footwear. Suitable for ages 16+
