Friday 31st March (evening session) - 6.30 - 8.30pm - COLOUR & COLLAGE
Enjoy exploring colour and composition using simple collage techniques to produce finished works or a collection of sample pieces.
£25 - includes all materials 

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd April - 9.30am - 5.00pm - AN INTRODUCTION TO LEADED STAINED GLASS
Produce your own small individual coloured glass penal in this one day introduction to traditional leaded glass techniques including cutting, leading, soldering and puttying.  No previous experience required.
£75 per day - includes all materials

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd April - 10.00am - 4.30pm - TEXTILES: DYE TECHNIQUES & HEAT TRANSFER PRINTING
In the morning, experiment with simple Shibori and tie-dye techniques on silk and cotton fabric and in the afternoon, learn how to transfer colour, pattern from paper to fabric using a simple and effective pritning process.  During this hands-on workshop, you will produce a silk cushion cover as well as a range of textile samples for use in other projects or to frame.  Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience.
£65 - includes all materials.

Sunday 2nd April - 9.30am - 4.30pm - PRINTING WITHOUT A PRESS: MONO PRINT & LOST LINO TECHNIQUE
Explore printing techniques without using a press - starting with mono-printing, learn how to take one-off prints directly from the working surface.  Following on, learn how to print using lino blocks - transfer your design onto the lino block, then cut and make a series of prints.  A simple process suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience.
£65 per day - includes all materials

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.  Please bring your own packed lunch.

There will be examples of work in Stained Glass, Prints and Textiles by Anne and Morag as well as cards and associated products that can be purchased.

TUTORS: Anne Ferguson & Morag Tweedie
Both Anne and Morag are graduates in Printed Textiles from Glasgow School of Art and have worked as teachers, artists and designers in a variety of fields.  Colour, pattern and a keen eye for observation are key components within their art and textile work.  They regularly exhibit throughout Scotland, run workshops in Scotland and Spain and have undertaken design consultancies in Lesotho, Southern Africa.To book your place on any of the above, download a Booking Form or email Morag.
